Creveti picanti cu sos de rosii – Spicy shrimps with tomato sauce

Creveti cu sos de rosii, picanti si cu gust intens, serviti cu orez. Un deliciu numai bun pentru pranz sau o cina.

Ingrediente: (pentru 5 portii)

  • 1 kg creveti decorticati
  • 800 g rosii cuburi la conserva
  • 3 tije de apio
  • 2 morcovi mari
  • patrunjel proaspat
  • 3-4 catei de usturoi
  • 1 ceapa galbena
  • un ardei gras
  • o lingura oregano uscat
  • o lingura busuioc uscat (eu am avut proaspat)
  • 4 linguri sirop de agave
  • 40 ml ulei de masline
  • amestec condimente din: o lingura paprika afumata (sau normala), o lingurita piper macinat, o lingurita pudra de ardei cayenne, o lingurita praf de usturoi, o lingurita sare si o lingurita cimbru macinat
  • o cana orez

Preparare:

Se curata si se taie toate legumele cuburi micute, sau cat de micut puteti voi.

Se spala crevetii, se curata bine si se pun intr-un bol impreuna cu amestecul de comdimente preparat mai devreme. Se amesteca bine si sa lasa deoparte.

Intr-o oala separat fierbem orezul conform instructiunilor.

Intr-o oala incapatoare adaugam uleiul si cand acesta s-a incins adaugam legumele. Le gatim cam 5 minute amestecand periodic.

Adaugam apoi sosul de rosii, oregano, busuioc si sirpul de agave, se amesteca bine si se gateste in jur de 20 minute la foc mediu, amestecand periodic.

Cand legumele sunt fierte, se adauga crevetii, se amesteca bine si se gatesc impreuna inca 3-4 minute.

La final adaugam patrunjelul proaspat deasupra si amestecam bine.

Servim impreuna cu orez fiert.

English translation:

Shrimps with tomato sauce, spicy and intensely flavoured, served with rice.

A great treat for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients: (for 5 servings)

  • 1 kg shelled shrimps
  • 800 g canned diced tomatoes
  • 3 stalks of celery
  • 2 large carrots
  • fresh parsley
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 1 bell pepper
  • a spoonful of dried oregano
  • a spoonful of dried basil (I had fresh basil)
  • 4 tablespoons of agave syrup
  • 40 ml of olive oil
  • spices mix from: a spoon of smoked paprika (or normal), a teaspoon of ground pepper, a teaspoon of cayenne pepper powder, a teaspoon of garlic powder, a teaspoon of salt and a teaspoon of ground thyme
  • a cup of rice

Preparation:

Wash the shrimps, clean them well and put them in a bowl together with the mixture of spices you prepared earlier. Mix well and set aside.

In a separate pot, boil the rice according to the instructions.

In a large pot, add the oil and when it has heated up, add the vegetables. Cook them for about 5 minutes, stirring periodically.

Add the tomato sauce, oregano, basil and agave syrup, mix well and cook for around 20 minutes on medium heat, stirring periodically.

When the vegetables are cooked, add the shrimps, mix well and cook together for another 3-4 minutes.

In the end, add the fresh parsley on top and mix well.

Serve with boiled rice.
