Wraps cu cartofi – Potato wraps / Vegetarian

Nu stiu voi, dar mie mi se intampla des sa constat cand vine vorba de „ce mancam?”, ca sunt in pana de timp sau idei, ori ca efectiv am fost lenesa si nu am fost la cumparaturi sau nu am depus efort sa ma gandesc la ce o sa mancam in zilele urmatoare. 😀

Asa se face ca de multe ori improvizez ad-hoc, cu ce am prin casa. Asa a fost si cazul acestor wraps.

Iar de cele mai multe ori iese ceva delicios si usor de preparat. 💜

Ingrediente: (pentru 6 portii)

  • 1 kg cartofi galbeni
  • 50 ml lapte
  • 50 g unt
  • un ou
  • 3-4 fire de ceapa verde
  • 3-4 catei de usturoi
  • un ardei iute jalapeño
  • patrunjel proaspat
  • marar proaspat
  • 6 tortilla wraps
  • sare + piper
  • putin ulei de masline

Preparare:

Curatam cartofii, ii taiem cuburi egale si ii punem la fiert in apa cu putina sare. Se fierb pana cand intra usor furculita in ei.

Cat timp se fierb carfii, se taie ceapa rondele, verdeata marunt, ardeiul jalapeno se taie in doua pe lung, apoi in 4-5 fasii si fasiile in bucatele marunte iar usturoiul se curata si se da prin presa.

Cand s-au fiert cartofii, ii scurgem de apa si adaugam peste ei cat sunt inca foarte fierbinti: oul, laptele si untul. Zdrobim totul cu ajutorul unei prese de cartofi si amestecam bine. Adaugam sare si piper dupa gust.

Cand toate ingredientele s-au amestecat bine si am ajuns la consistenta dorita, adaugam verdeata si amestecam totul bine cu ajutorul unei spatule.

Impartim compozitia obtinuta in 6 parti egale. Luam cate o lipie si punem compozitie pe jumate, o pliem si o presam usor pana cand compozitia este distribuita in mod egal inauntrul lipiei. Procedam astfel pana cand epuizam lipile si umplutura.

Intr-o tigaie antiaderenta cu putin ulei gatim lipiile pe rand. Gatim pe fiecare parte pana cand lipiile sunt frumos rumenite pe ambele parti.

Eu le-am servit cu un sos de usturoi si iaurt (iaurt, usturoi zdrobit, sare, piper). Le puteti manca simple sau cu sosul preferat.

I don’t know about you, but when it comes to „what to eat?” I often find myself running out of time or ideas, and sometimes I acknowledge that I was actually too lazy and didn’t go shopping or didn’t make an effort to think about what we will eat in the following days. 😀

This is why I often improvise ad-hoc, with what I have available. That’s also the case with these wraps. 😀

And most of the time, something delicious and easy to prepare is born. 💜

Ingredients: (for 6 servings)

  • 1 kg of yellow potatoes
  • 50 ml milk
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 egg
  • 4 spring onions
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 1  jalapeño pepper
  • fresh parsley
  • fresh dill
  • 6 tortilla wraps
  • salt + pepper
  • a little olive oil

Preparation:

Peel the potatoes, cut them into equal cubes and boil them in water with a little salt. Boil until it’s easy to stick a fork in them.

While the potatoes are boiling, cut the spring onions, chop the parsley & dill, cut the jalapeño pepper in half lengthwise, then into 4-5 strips and then the strips into small pieces. Peel the garlic and crush it through the garlic press.

When the potatoes are cooked, drain the water and add the egg, milk and butter while they are still hot. Mash everything with the help of a potato press and mix well. Add salt and pepper to taste.

When all the ingredients are mixed well and you have reached the desired consistency, add the greens and mix everything well with the help of a spatula.

Divide the filling into 6 equal parts. Take one tortilla wrap and put filling on half of it, fold it and press it gently until the composition is evenly distributed inside the wrap. Proceed like this with all the wraps and filling

In a non-stick pan, add a few millilitres of oil and when it has heated up, put a wrap in the pan. Cook it on each side until it is nicely browned.

I served them with garlic & yoghurt sauce (yoghurt, crushed garlic, salt, and pepper mixed all together).

You can eat them plain or with your favourite sauce.
