Fenicul la cuptor, o mancare plina de arome si texturi.
Usor si repede de preparat.
Ingrediente: (pentru 2 portii)
- 2 radacini de fenicul
- 30 ml ulei de masline
- cateva fire de patrunjel proaspat
- cateva bucati de branza de capra (rondele moi)
- amestec condimente din: o lingura boia dulce, o lingura praf de usturoi, o lingurita oregano uscat, o lingurita chimion macinat ( a nu se confunda cu chimenul )
- sare + piper
- o lingurita fulgi de chilli

Preparare:
Spalam feniculul si indepartam frunzele, pe care le punem deoparte intr-o farfurioara. Taiem feniculul pe din doua si apoi il taiem felii egale, cam de 1 cm grosime.

Pornim cuptorul la 210-215 grade celsius si il lasam sa se incinga.
Punem feliile de fenicul intr-un bol, impreuna cu uleiul si condimentele si amestecam bine.

Intr-o tava pregatita cu hartie de copt, asezam ordonat feliile de fenicul condimentate si deasupra sau printre, adaugam rondelele de branza. Presaram fulgii de chilli deasupra, sare si pier si dam la cuptorul preincalzit pentru 17-20 minute sau pana cand feniculul si branza s-au rumenit si feniculul este moale cand bagam furculita in el.

Cand e gata, presaram deasupra bucatele de frunze de fenicul proaspete si patrunjel proaspat tocat.
Servim ca atare sau daca vreti puteti face un sos rapid din iaurt, cativa catei de usturoi zbrobiti, sare, piper si putina zeama de lamaie 😀.

Baked fennel, a dish full of flavors and textures.
Easy and quick to prepare.
Ingredients: (for 2 servings)
- 2 fennel roots
- 30 ml of olive oil
- a few sprigs of fresh parsley
- a few pieces of soft goat cheese
- spice mix: a spoonful of sweet paprika, a spoonful of garlic powder, a spoonful of dried oregano, and a spoonful of ground cumin (not to be confused with caraway).
- salt + pepper
- a teaspoon of chili flakes
Preparation:
Wash the fennel and remove the leaves – put them aside on a plate. Cut the fennel in half and then cut it into equal slices, about 1 cm thick.
Turn on the oven to 210-215 degrees celsius and let it heat up.
Put the fennel slices in a bowl, together with the oil and spices and mix well.
In a tray with baking paper, place the seasoned fennel slices in an orderly manner and on top or in between, add the slices of cheese. Sprinkle the chilli flakes on top, salt and pepper and put in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes or until the fennel and cheese have browned and the fennel is soft when you stick a fork in it.
When it’s done, remove it from the oven and sprinkle fresh fennel leaves and freshly chopped parsley on top.
Serve it simple or if you want you can make a quick sauce from yoghurt, a few crushed garlic cloves, salt, pepper and some freshly squeezed lemon juice 😀.
